For high-quality Cơm Tấm, this spot stands out in both taste and authenticity. However, it is more expensive and the portions are smaller compared to other nearby places. Despite that, it’s so delicious that my family and I have been dining here for years. My usual order is combo 8—Cơm Tấm with grilled pork, shredded pork skin, egg cake, and shrimp cake wrapped in tofu skin. The meal comes with a side of soup and sweet fish sauce for drizzling over the rice.

I’ve visited this restaurant twice for its Banh Canh (Vietnamese udon). It’s a decent-sized restaurant with quick service and a short wait time. Each time, I ordered the pork knuckle udon, and the broth is rich and flavorful. The crispy fried pork skin garnishing reminded me of dishes I had in Vietnam. My husband ordered the broken rice, which was substantial and delicious. The prices are reasonable, and we plan to return whenever we’re in Orange County.
